Testimonials
"I’m an author of the Inventory for Client and Agency Planing (ICAP), and over the years I have consulted with 20 states regarding the ICAP. Arbitre specializes in conducting ICAP assessments. There is no other organization which offers a similar service.
Arbitre’s staff are carefully selected and professionally trained to conduct valid and reliable assessments in a manner that is uniform throughout the state, and fair to all clients and service providers. I have trained most of their staff personally through a series of annual workshops. There is no other company or individual that provides the same service that Arbitre does. Arbitre, using a well developed administration protocol not elsewhere available, is the sole source of professionally administered ICAPs."
~ Bradley Hill MA, ICAP Author – Minneapolis, Minnesota"The State of Delaware, Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDDS), embarked on a project to establish individual rates based on the needs of each person as identified by the ICAP assessment.
It was critical that the DDDS ensure that these assessments were completed by highly trained and competent professionals. In addition, we wanted to protect the integrity of the rate structure between the DDDS and its contracted day and residential providers by ensuring an independent "third party" administration of the instrument. Arbitre Consulting, Inc., was subsequently hired to perform the job and has completed over 1800 assessments to date. The Arbitre organization has provided well trained professional staff and mobilized its operations in Delaware to ensure that they were/are able to provide assessments quickly, accurately, and professionally to the Division.
The State has been extremely pleased with the performance of the Arbitre Consulting firm. We highly recommend their services to other state organizations interested in similar objective rate-setting projects that are based on the individual needs of service recipients and their families."
~ Valerie J. Smith, Chief of Administration, Delaware Division of Developmental Disabilities Services"The information Arbitre provided us through ICAP testing enables us to write an Individual Plan of Care that reflects the needs of the persons we serve and how we as a company can address those needs."
~ Susan Park, Adult Program Manager, Lincoln Self Reliance Inc. – Afton, Wyoming"ACI has been responsive and flexible in meeting the scheduling needs of families and care providers in setting up interviewing dates and times. At a time when Arbitre Consulting, Inc. was asked to do more and more ICAP's in the State of Alaska, Arbitre met the needs of the individuals served.
I am a Care Coordinator, preparing plans of care for individuals receiving services under the Alaska Medicaid Home and Community Based MRDD Waiver. I use the ICAP assessment tool, as prepared by Arbitre Consulting, Inc., with other assessment tools to help the individual and the team appropriately focus on adaptive behavior areas where there are deficits. I find that the ICAP allows the facilitator of the planning process to attribute attention specifically to areas of need. I find the scores accurately represent the individual’s deficit areas across the spread of the four domains of adaptive behavior."
